A little direction

Before you take
the leap.

A few answers to help you find your feet. Even when there’s no floor.

What kind of game is There Is No Floor?

A single-player timing puzzle adventure above the clouds. Ride rotating windmill sails, tap to jump to the next windmill, collect golden sails, and plan an efficient route. Some levels ask you to reach home; others ask you to light numbered beacons in order.

Where can I play?

You can play now on Reddit in r/ThereIsNoFloor. There Is No Floor is being prepared for iOS and Android. Official download links will appear here when the listings are live.

How do I jump?

Wait for the gold direction caret at the tip of your windmill’s blade, then tap the play area once. Your traveller jumps immediately. Holding or dragging does not charge or queue a jump.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Free gameplay and local progress work offline. Online leaderboard verification, syncing, and purchase verification need a connection.

Are there ads or subscriptions?

No ads and no subscriptions. There are optional purchases for two additional heroes and supplies. Every level can be solved without purchases, and Rowan and Lyric are free heroes.

How many levels are there?

There are 60 handcrafted levels across four worlds, followed by generated expeditions. Each level has a three-star target for players who want to find the most efficient route.

How do hearts and stars work?

You have up to five free hearts, with one recovering every minute. A qualifying clear returns the heart used to start the attempt. Three stars mean finishing at the level’s best jump target. From level four, an unassisted one-star result requires a retry before advancing.

Can I recover progress or purchases?

Your progress is saved locally and syncs with an anonymous game identity when connected. Launch does not include email sign-in or account transfer. Losing the identity, deleting the app, or changing devices may make progress and unused supplies unrecoverable. Restore Purchases can recover eligible permanent heroes through the same store account. Include your Player ID from Settings when contacting support.
